Once upon a time there was a King who wanted to live forever. He knew that he desired the impossible, but he was very determined to change that. He called upon all of the witch doctors, medicine men, faith healers, spiritual healers, wizards, prophets, fortunetellers and anyone that he could think of – to give him the cure to eternal life.
No one could find such thing. No one could provide him with the cure. The King tried every remedy, treatment, drug, followed the advice from all of the healers, but nothing seemed to be guaranteeing the endless life.
The King was very sad and had lost all hope.
One day, an old man from the village nearby heard of the King's wish. He hurried to the King's palace. At the door, he told the guards that he had the solution for the King's desire.
The King was very happy to hear that. So, they let the old man in.
The King eagerly asked the old man to give him the solution. The old man without wasting a single minute, told the King: "If you want to live forever, you have to do something that the world will remember you by. Something so good that will touch many people's lives. That's how your legend will be transferred from generation to generation. You will live in people's hearts and memories for ever and ever."
Taking into account the entire earth's population, there are only a handful of people whose legends will live forever because of the good things they've done.
Corey became an Internet marketing legend with his unselfish and noble contribution to the entire Internet Marketing world.
He touched so many lives, set the stage for marketing success for thousands more to come who are learning from him and will continue to learn.
Instead of selfishly guarding his success secrets, he generously offered them to the world to take and use them for their own good. He was a genuine person, always eager to help another human being succeed.
Since the early days of the Internet era after he spent countless days testing and testing different marketing methods for his book "Car Secrets Revealed," he discovered many unique marketing ways that helped him generate a great deal of success with this book.
Soon after, a lot of other businesses and entrepreneurs started knocking on his door and asking Corey to share his marketing secrets that brought him success. Corey very gladly offered his knowledge and discoveries to all of the people who wanted to learn from him.
Seeing that he was only helping a handful of people, he then put together his powerful "Internet Marketing Course," which in a matter of months became a bible for the people from the whole world who wanted to learn about Internet marketing.
Ever since then, Corey has directly and indirectly helped thousands and thousands of small business owners, entrepreneurs and the much-neglected newbies - succeed with their Internet marking businesses.
Corey Rudl had no equal. His drive and ambition led him to the top of the Internet marketing world. But then, he would always turn back and pull other people to success to join him.
Corey genuinely deserves the title of "Genius." He was one of the very first marketers to grasp and use the power of affiliate marketing. He even developed his own affiliate marketing software that incorporates all of the needed features for successful affiliate marketing.
Most importantly, he went through the hard work of making this and many more sophisticated tools of affiliate marketing available to the whole world.
Thanks to Corey, there are many people and small businesses today that operate with a great deal of intelligence and skill even more so than many of the companies of the Fortune 500.
Some people will remember Corey for the money he made, some people will remember him for the domination of the "How To" market in the Internet marketing niche, and some people will remember him for his passion – his passion for the Internet and the opportunities that the Internet offers to the little guy.
Corey's legend will greatly be remembered for the influence he had on the Internet marketing world. An influence that will last forever.
Corey will be remembered as a great son, great husband, great mentor, great friend, great boss, great person and someone to look up to – an inspiration for everyone.
Farewell Corey. There will never be another like you. Your legend will be transferred from generation to generation. You will live in people's hearts and memories for ever and ever.
I'll end this farewell article with a line from Elton John's song 'Candle In The Wind': "Your candle's burned out long before your legend ever will."
